Development of a responsive web dashboard for real-time management and monitoring of industrial plants. The project required integration of complex IoT systems with an intuitive user interface, designed for technical operators and maintenance managers.

Challenge

The client needed to modernize their industrial plant monitoring infrastructure, moving from fragmented legacy systems to a unified digital platform. The complexity lay in managing real-time data from multiple geographically distributed plants, each with different IoT sensor configurations, while ensuring secure access through Azure B2C authentication. Field technicians required reliable access to technical documentation and maintenance reports even in areas with unstable connectivity, and the solution needed to serve operators, technicians, and managers seamlessly across web and mobile platforms.

Solution

We developed a comprehensive cross-platform monitoring system using Flutter, enabling deployment across web, iOS, and Android from a single codebase. The architecture centered on a modular widget-based dashboard that provides real-time visualization of KPIs and performance analytics through Syncfusion Charts. We integrated OAuth 2.0 with automatic token refresh and WebView-based Azure B2C authentication to ensure secure yet seamless access. The platform features an intelligent offline-first approach with automatic connection monitoring and transparent retry mechanisms, allowing field technicians to access critical documentation through an integrated PDF viewer even without connectivity. By leveraging Riverpod with MVVM architecture, we created a robust state management system capable of handling complex data synchronization across multiple sources with real-time updates. The platform reduced maintenance response times by 40% and significantly improved operational efficiency through centralized access to critical plant data.
